I understand Steve Lamacq played Abstain again a few weeks ago. As much as I welcome this, I really would love to see him play a different 530 song or low and behold a track from Serpentine Waltz, Jimm was good enough to spend time stalking him out at his 'work local' And did even place a copy in his hand. And go so far as to follow up a few weeks later with any feed back he may have had on the record. I believe his response was something along the lines, 'Yes this sounds very Tara Milton, I've actually passed it on to someone who is into this kind of stuff' Which begs the question, who did he think it would sound like? I personally don't think it sounds much like any of the bands I've been involved with. Anyway what can you expect from a man who's name end's with a 'cq'? Come on Steve! 'I left my heart on the pavement for pedestrians like you!'
